EYELINER TREATMENTS
I define the eyeliner I do with 4 different names.
SUBTLE LASH LINE ENHANCEMENT
As stated - a lash line enhancement fills through the base of the lashes for natural definition and contour. |
SMOKEY LASH LINE / SMALL WING
A smudgy shaded lash line with the option of a small wing for a *slightly* thicker / heavier look. |
NORMAL SMALL WING
A neat small flick at the outer edge of the eye to create lift and contour. Wings are determined by natural eye shape / creases. |
DRAMATIC THICK / LONG WING
Not for the faint hearted! Thicker, darker, heavier and way more obvious. Wings are determined by natural eye shape / creases. |
Lash enhancement vs. winged eyeliner
A lash enhancement is a tattoo along your lash line that makes the base of your lashes look darker and thicker. This is the most natural and subtle eyeliner tattoo that you can have, and is not intended to look super obvious. Winged eyeliner still goes along the lash line, but is slightly thicker and comes out at the edge of the eye with a small flick. This look is for clients who are wanting something more dramatic, who are used to wearing winged eyeliner everyday. Regardless of style, it is always my preference to keep eyeliner work as natural as possible as this kind of tattoo can always be added to with make up. You need to remember of how this will look with no other make up on your face.

How semi-permanent / permanent is it?
Semi-permanent means it will fade over time, and that if you want to keep your eyeliner looking vibrant, top up appointments will be needed to maintain this look. Semi-permanent DOES NOT mean it will 100% fade away. You may always be left with remnants of ink under your skin, even 10 years from now, especially with eyeliner as the ink used for this treatment is always black which takes the longest to fade. Everyone's bodies will process the ink differently, as well as your lifestyle choices affecting the longevity of the tattoo.

Top ups...
Because your face is naturally oilier, is exposed to the sun, pollution, cleansing products, make up etc more than other parts of the body you would have tattooed, two sessions spaced 6 - 8 weeks apart are needed for best healed results. Some clients, especially those who; use sunbeds, sunbathe, don’t use sun protection, smoke, have a fast metabolism, use chemical peels or anti aging products or harsh acids/exfoliants, may need more than 1 touch up session to achieve their desired results. Annual refresh sessions can range from 1 - 3+ years depending on desired results.
