'ALOOR' or 'PigmentOff' SEMI PERMANENT MAKE UP LIGHTENER & REMOVAL TREATMENT
WHAT IS ALOOR TATTOO REMOVER?
Aloor is an alkaline removal solution created by Deluxe Brows for the lightening and removal of permanent make-up, microblading and body tattoos without needing to use a laser. The product is effective, comfortable, gentle to skin, safe for all FitzPatrick skin types, removes all colours and pigments and leaves no scars when used professionally. Aloor is made and certified in Europe. Approved and insured in the US by PPIB.
Pigment-Off is also an alkaline based solution by the company Beauty Case in Germany where the product is manufactured and tested. It has the same purpose as Aloor but from experience is slightly stronger, so the healing / aftercare can be a little more scabby than Aloor. Typically I would suggest to everyone that we start off with Aloor to see how your skin copes during the removal session and healing period, and we can then proceed with Pigment-Off if we would like a faster or more dramatic result after a couple of Aloor sessions.
The choice of solution used will be discussed with you and the differences in healing will be addressed so you can make the best choice for yourself.

How do THE SOLUTIONS work?
They are able to bind to foreign bodies (pigments) and iron oxide residues to remove them via the skin surface. Instead of breaking up the pigment and dispersing it underneath the skin as a laser would do, the solution is tattooed into the skin (either manually or with a machine) which then allows it to bind to the pigment molecules to pull them back up out of your skin. The pigment leaves your skin the way it was implanted in the first place, instead of leaving your lymph channels to deal with disposing of the broken up pigment molecules through your lymph nodes. Multiple sessions are likely to be required to achieve desired results. It's not possible to say how many sessions would be needed as it all depends on the tattoo's age, how many times the area has been worked on, how deep the ink is etc.
Why choose Aloor or Pigment off instead of laser removal?
Laser removal is usually painful and a slower process overall, but is however the most popular method for tattoo lightening or removal. For body tattooing, laser can cover a larger surface area in one go so is the obvious choice, but for a small area such as cosmetic tattooing, a removal solution can be less time consuming and more effective depending on the colour. Removal solutions also won't damage the hair follicle when used properly.
The effectiveness of laser removal depends on the type of laser used and the quality of the machine and the technicians knowledge and experience. Lasers unfortunately can't recognise all colours unlike Aloor & Pigment Off, and in addition the method often reaches its limits when the once easily visible pigments do not have sufficient contrast to the skin (usually after several lightening/removal attempts). At this stage, laser removal will be less effective until possibly unsuccessful. White or beige colours shouldn't be treated with a laser at all (unless the colour can be altered and then removed). Under the laser beam, these lighter pigment colours change to dirty green-gray or black tones, which can then no longer be removed. The same applies to pigments which are mixed with white or beige. Removal of acrylic based pigments with a laser can be dangerous as these pigments can melt under the laser beam and lead to internal skin burns (and scarring). Interval times between laser sessions are longer, usually 6-8 weeks.

THE HEALING PROCESS AND AFTERCARE ROUTINE
✔ You must keep your brows dry and clean (apart from the directed cleaning solutions) for the first 7-14 days post treatment.
✘ Do not touch or scratch your eyebrows - picking at them will cause the film to come off early and could risk infection or scarring.
✘ No heavy exercise for at least the first 7-14 days post treatment. You cannot get the film covering your brows wet which will happen if you sweat a lot.
✘ No saunas or swimming for at least 2 weeks after your treatment.
✘ No cosmetics, creams, ointments or make up on your eyebrows for 1-2 weeks. Once the film has come away, if you decide to wear make up, please remove this very gently & carefully to not disturb the regenerating skin.
✘ No sunbeds, sunbathing, eyebrow tinting, chemical peels, mesotherapy, dermabrasion, botox or any strong treatments for at least 4 weeks after your session to ensure your skin gets back to ‘normal’.
The day of your removal session:
Redness and tenderness around the treated area is normal at this stage. For the first 2-4 hours you will need to dab off any lymph fluid with a clean, dry cotton pad (provided). When the lymph fluid has stopped expelling, regularly dab saline solution onto the treated area using a cotton pad to ensure the area is kept clean. Dab dry each time.
Days 2, 3 & 4 after the removal session:
A film should be forming now. The film is there to protect your healing skin. Clean your brows with saline solution on a cotton pad a minimum of 3-4 times a day. Do not soak the film - just cleanse using a ‘press and lift motion’ instead of wiping or rubbing. Dab dry and once totally dry apply a very thin layer of After Inked. Do not put the cream on before your brows are dry and do not put too much on which would lead to the film getting wet. Do not rub or pick off the film.
Day 5 onward:
The film may be starting to come away by now. Let it come away naturally and don’t peel it off. Continue to clean and moisturise your brows the exact same way as above until the film has totally come away.
After the film has come away:
The skin will be pink/red and will look thin and delicate. This is a sign of the skin regenerating and the colour will return to ‘normal’ within a few weeks. You can continue to use the After Inked or another plain moisturiser on the area if you wish. Do not use anything like Bepanthen or Vaseline as these are barrier creams and won’t moisturise.
